We were in a town called Coeur D’Alene, ID this past week. In their town center is a little leather boutique called “The Leather Works”. I saw the most adorable leather booties in the window and had to see if they had them in Lovebug’s size.
Woo hoo they did. These booties are handmade by “Bertie” out of deerskin with fleece lining - in different colors - and they’re machine washable! They don’t carry them on their website, but told me they will ship them from the store (p 208-676-0818). Lovebug loves them - we bought two pair. At $39, they go all the way up to children’s size 12.

I learned from reading a few of my favorite bloggers that Dawg a daddy and blogger has lost his 5 year old son. His story broke my heart and Lovebug has gotten tons of hugs today.

We’ve been in Montana, Idaho and Washington this week for a family reunion.  Tonight was our last night and we spent it in downtown Spokane, WA where they have a park with the fastest carousel I’ve ever been on, and this huge wagon.  You can barely see Lovebug peeking out the top, but he’s there.

Nordstrom is having their 1/2 yearly sale. A freind of mine and I went shopping last night - for bras.

Any woman who thinks she doesn’t have back fat needs to have a bra fitting at Nordstrom.

TLC’s “What Not to Wear” has nothing on Nordie’s 360 deg. mirrors.

Let’s just say last nights experience catapults motivation to jump on the treadmill more than a skinny picture on the fridge. (cries).
